Gwendolyn Redfern, a native of  Raleigh, NC , recieved a BFA in Painting and Ceramics  from East Carolina University in 1995.  Redfern became the first full time professional artist in a family of three artists in  1998.  Redfern and her Mom opened a gallery and frame shop in Raleigh, NC called Redfern Fine Art Studio.

Gwendolyn is currently working on a body of work in oils in colaboration with her sister Lisa M. Redfern-Twitty and Asataul.  She is also working on her first series of drawings of over 100 pieces which will be completed this July.
